Our team was commissioned to produce a flagship audiovisual experience for the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) summit in Dubai. The objective was to craft a narrative that transcends the city’s skyline, highlighting the diversity of Dubai’s natural landscapes — from the serenity of the Al Marmoom desert to the lush mangroves – and the Hatta mountains.

Parallel to this natural heritage, the production showcases Dubai’s position as a global leader in innovation. By weaving together cinematic vistas of the natural world with the city’s seamless integration of future-tech and smart infra – structure, the show illustrates a destination where the ancient environment and the digital frontier do not just coexist, but thrive in harmony.

The experience was anchored in the raw beauty of the desert. We selected Bab Al Shams for its organic topography, transforming its natural landscape into a bespoke amphitheater. The visual centerpiece featured dual 10m x 7m screens showcasing a 30- minute cinematic journey through the UAE’s most pristine nature reserves. To bring these visuals to life, we collaborated with world-renowned VJ artist Soichi Matsumoto, who performed a live, rhythmic deconstruction of the footage to sync with the evening’s pulse.

The auditory landscape was equally curated: a “Contemporary Arabic Jazz” commission featuring Emma Smith (Hot Chip) and Andy Davies (Ronnie Scott’s)—artists chosen for their virtuosity and commitment to sustainability. In a breathtaking finale, we choreographed the sacred movements of Istanbul’s Whirling Dervishes into a modern light show. Every element was a deliberate bridge between authentic Arabian heritage and cutting-edge innovation, designed to forge a deep, emotional resonance with every guest.
